Truth Nutrition Vegan BCAA Review
Here’s What You Need to Know
Lots of young men seem to have fallen into the pit of delusion called “getting old and not realising it”.
Consequently, there’s no shortage of gym peeps who are experiencing loss of breath, strength and stamina. In fact, even my super-fit and fitness-aware girlfriend made it easier for me to accept that I too might be turning into a slob, by proxy.
Enter Truth Nutrition BCAA, a supplement designed to regain some speed, endurance and raw strength. In this review, we will find out how much truth is there to Truth Nutrition.
What is Truth Nutrition BCAA?
According to their webpage, this BCAA is an all natural, plant derived formulation of branched chain amino acids.
It comes in all too familiar 2:1:1 ratio of L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine respectively.
Leucine, isoleucine and valine are the key. These branched chain amino acids are the essence of Truth BCAA.
1. L-Leucine (2,5 g)
This is our secret weapon when it comes to workouts. Leucine L is the primary amino acid responsible for muscle growth and recovery. Combined with other essential amino acids, isoleucine and valine, it reduces muscle damage and accelerates recovery during hard training.
2. L-Isoleucine (1,25 g)
Although it doesn’t stimulate muscle growth as other amino acids, Isoleucine does help the body utilize glucose during exercise. In theory, this will give you greater energy to pump one more rep in the gym. Also, it has the ability to stimulate receptors that inhibit fat storage and increase fat burning.
Valine helps boost muscular endurance and reduce fatigue during your exercise. It gives you more stamina and time to train longer and more efficiently. This branched chain amino acid gives you the benefit of stronger muscular contractions and quicker recovery between sets.
4. Other Ingredients
Apart from leucine, isoleucine and valine, this vegan BCAA contains citric acid, natural flavor, vegetable juice color (Beer Root), sodium citrate, stevia rebaudiana leaf extract, potassium citrate, sea salt, sunflower lecithin and beta carotene.
- Helps with muscle recovery, reduces fatigue and increases their growth
- No artificial flavors, gluten free, non GMO and totally plant based BCAA supplement
- Not expensive and easy to find
- The results are not spectacular at all, similar to a placebo
- Not good at building muscle mass
- Taste can be a problem
Are There Any Side Effects?
Much to their credit, the manufacturers advertise this BCAA supplement as an adult only product – not intended for persons under 18 years old.
It is necessary to obtain the consent of your personal physician, especially if you are on some medications or have an existing medical condition.
If you are a healthy and responsible person, there are no known serious side effects to this product. However, as with many other BCAA supplements, some people are simply too sensitive to them, which may require special care.
If consumed every day, very high doses of BCAA can cause fatigue, loss of coordination, nausea and digestive problems.
Just listen to your doctor, pay attention to your body signals and follow the instructions, you will be fine.
Where Can You Buy Truth Nutrition BCAA?
This vegan BCAA is easy to buy. You can try with third-party retailers or go directly to the manufacturer, which is what I prefer.
It’s quick and simple, plus they offer money back guarantee and some cool discounts on bulk orders. Free shipping is also a possibility, which is nice if you decide to go all in.
“Truth Nutri’s BCAA increased my muscle recovery and stamina. Seems to work for both men and women. It helps me reach that leaner stature and increased muscle mass, if you put in the effort, of course.”
“Vegan friendly, with plant based ingredients and no artificial sweeteners. Love it!”
“Effects similar or worse in comparison to the competitors. Not great, not terrible.”
“The taste takes some time getting used to and a wide array of flavors doesn’t seem to help.”

Does Truth Nutrition BCAA have caffeine?
No, this product does not contain caffeine or any other banned substances.
How should I take it?
This vegan BCAA comes in powder form so mix one scoop, or 7,4 grams per serving, with water or some other type of beverage. Drink essential amino acids combo 1 to 3 times per workout day, and 1 time on any other day.
Does it contain estrogen, beta-alanine or citrulline malate?
No, it does not. As part of the natural fermentation process to extract the branched chain amino acids there is a separation process which extracts all extraneous compounds, resulting in clean and purely plant based essential amino acids.
Is Truth Nutrition Vegan BCAA the Right Choice For You?
To prove my lack of bias in this review I will have to answer that question like a mystic elf from the Middle Earth – I will say both “yes” and “no”.
Sure this vegan BCAA has no artificial sweeteners or artificial flavors, and is totally animal friendly. But if we consider the price and results, I can think of a few other products with amino acids that you might find interesting.
After a quick research and a friendly talk with a bodybuilder friend of mine I came to this: Transparent Labs BCAA Glutamine supplement has much more to offer, has great reviews and it fits my needs perfectly.
I personally found that this product helped reduce my fatigue, allowing me to go more frequently to the gym as well as improving my performance.
Hope this helps, and remember: your success greatly depends on how you set your goals. Be realistic and keep pushing.
