My main issue with Tribal t-booster and its ingredients is that I feel they are more focused on supporting the libido rather than actually raising testosterone levels. There are a few proven ingredients with research to back up their effect, but the dosing is a little hit and miss.
1. Vitamin D3 (1000 IU)
Vitamin D3 causes the body to absorb sunlight through the skin and produces testosterone and other hormones in the blood.
The only problem is that most people cannot get enough of it. That is primarily because we spend too much time indoors and are not out enough to enjoy the full benefit of the sun.
This might explain why supplementation is a good idea because they can pep you up in many ways. However, only 1000 IU a day of supplements may not be enough to experience the full benefits.
Studies suggest that you need more than 3000 iU a day to effectively boost your testosterone levels .
Zinc is a mineral that can help with numerous bodily functions, and it is also good for testosterone production.
When your body absorbs zinc, it can be used by the brain for multiple chemical reactions.
Such reactions promote overall levels of the luteinizing hormone (LH). LH is a precursor of the growth hormone testosterone in the body. The more you have in your system, the more testosterone you produce, and the higher the LH level .
Tribulus makes some pretty bold claims about its effects at boosting testosterone but doesn't have the research to back them up.
There is no evidence that testosterone levels in humans are affected by tribulus; it has only been shown in animals.

There is simply not enough research on humans to support the claims of horny goat weed improving testosterone levels - and even its effect on sex drive is very mild.
Fenugreek is a nutrient that can help with libido and testosterone, and it does this very well. It helps regulate blood sugar and increases insulin levels, which is important because insulin can directly affect your T count.
There is a hormonal balancing act in the system known as homeostasis.
Although vital for certain bodily functions, the more insulin you have in your system, the less testosterone you will be likely to produce.
Research has shown that fenugreek can help boost libido and fertility, and some studies even suggest that it can help increase your sperm's quality.
Fenugreek has also proven itself effective in studies focused on strength and resistance training, making it a great ingredient for the Tribal Nutrition recipe.
Like tribulus and horny goat weed before it, maca is an ingredient that talks big but has no hard research to back that up.

At best, these ingredients are included in a misguided attempt to boost testosterone levels; at worst, they are filler relying on an increase in sexual appetite and performance to trick users into believing they work.
Ashwagandha is an anti-stress herb that is also said to help boost testosterone. The research doesn't back up this claim, though, and while many studies prove its anti-anxiety properties, none prove a link to elevated testosterone levels.
In fact, in one study, it performed no better or worse than the placebo .
The main link that ashwagandha has with testosterone is that it does lower cortisol levels to some extent.
As most of us are well aware, cortisol is the body's stress hormone - and high levels of cortisol can wreak havoc on your testosterone levels.
