As men age, it is only natural that our testosterone levels go into a gradual decline. This can have side effects, such as fatigue and lack of energy. So how do we continue to work out, make love, and enjoy life like we used to?

Indeed, proper nutrition is key, but an increasing number of men are turning to testosterone boosters to supply the need. But do they work?

In our Tribal X Nutrition review, we will examine their supplement and unearth what is fact, and what is fiction.

What Is Tribal X Nutrition Testosterone Booster?

tribal x

A t-booster serves to boost the testosterone in a man's body. This is done not by flooding it with synthetic or illegal testosterone but by increasing its production.

Tribal X Nutrition Testosterone Booster claims to use natural ingredients in order to increase energy levels, sex drive, weight loss, and muscle mass.

Here’s a list of things Tribal Nutrition booster claims to help with:

  • Energy
  • Sex Drive
  • Muscle Mass
  • Strength
  • Testosterone

Ingredients List

My main issue with Tribal t-booster and its ingredients is that I feel they are more focused on supporting the libido rather than actually raising testosterone levels. There are a few proven ingredients with research to back up their effect, but the dosing is a little hit and miss.

1. Vitamin D3 (1000 IU)

vitamin d3 capsules

Vitamin D3 causes the body to absorb sunlight through the skin and produces testosterone and other hormones in the blood.

The only problem is that most people cannot get enough of it. That is primarily because we spend too much time indoors and are not out enough to enjoy the full benefit of the sun.

This might explain why supplementation is a good idea because they can pep you up in many ways. However, only 1000 IU a day of supplements may not be enough to experience the full benefits.

Studies suggest that you need more than 3000 iU a day to effectively boost your testosterone levels [1].

2. Zinc

food rich in zinc

Zinc is a mineral that can help with numerous bodily functions, and it is also good for testosterone production.

When your body absorbs zinc, it can be used by the brain for multiple chemical reactions.

Such reactions promote overall levels of the luteinizing hormone (LH). LH is a precursor of the growth hormone testosterone in the body. The more you have in your system, the more testosterone you produce, and the higher the LH level [2].

3. Tribulus

tribulus flower

Tribulus makes some pretty bold claims about its effects at boosting testosterone but doesn't have the research to back them up.

There is no evidence that testosterone levels in humans are affected by tribulus; it has only been shown in animals.

Tribulus terrestris has been shown, however, to have some benefits to sex drive and libido. It may have some long term effects in the bedroom, which for many users, might make them feel like the t-booster is actually working.

4. Horny Goat Weed

horny goat weed

Horny goat weed, also known as epimedium, is an ingredient that promotes testosterone.

Still, there is not much evidence to support this as well. This is another ingredient that may slightly improve your libido, but it will do little to nothing for your overall testosterone levels.

There is simply not enough research on humans to support the claims of horny goat weed improving testosterone levels - and even its effect on sex drive is very mild.

5. Fenugreek

Fenugreek is a nutrient that can help with libido and testosterone, and it does this very well. It helps regulate blood sugar and increases insulin levels, which is important because insulin can directly affect your T count.

There is a hormonal balancing act in the system known as homeostasis.

Although vital for certain bodily functions, the more insulin you have in your system, the less testosterone you will be likely to produce.

Research has shown that fenugreek can help boost libido and fertility, and some studies even suggest that it can help increase your sperm's quality.

Fenugreek has also proven itself effective in studies focused on strength and resistance training, making it a great ingredient for the Tribal Nutrition recipe.

6. Maca

Like tribulus and horny goat weed before it, maca is an ingredient that talks big but has no hard research to back that up.

Of course, it claims it can boost testosterone levels, but all of the studies reveal it to have a mild effect on improving libido and energy levels.

At best, these ingredients are included in a misguided attempt to boost testosterone levels; at worst, they are filler relying on an increase in sexual appetite and performance to trick users into believing they work.

7. Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is an anti-stress herb that is also said to help boost testosterone. The research doesn't back up this claim, though, and while many studies prove its anti-anxiety properties, none prove a link to elevated testosterone levels.

In fact, in one study, it performed no better or worse than the placebo [3].

The main link that ashwagandha has with testosterone is that it does lower cortisol levels to some extent.

As most of us are well aware, cortisol is the body's stress hormone - and high levels of cortisol can wreak havoc on your testosterone levels.

It is the hormone that knocks testosterone out of homeostasis, so it, in theory, could make a great contribution to lowering overall testosterone levels.

If you want an additional testosterone boost, consider supplementing your diet with one of the top ashwagandha products on the market.

8. DIM

dim food source

DIM is a component thought to act as an estrogen suppressor, meaning it can help lower estrogen levels by boosting testosterone. While there is not enough evidence yet to verify this, the initial research is still promising [4].

However, it should be noted that you do not need to get rid of estrogen to produce more testosterone. Your body needs a balance of both; estrogen suppression would only be useful for those who have unusually high levels naturally, which seems a bit niche.

9. Boron

boron rich food

Boron is a mineral that should be included in any testosterone boosting supplement.

It has a great deal of research and studies that consistently prove its success at boosting testosterone as well as several other health benefits [5].

Out of all the ingredients in this list, boron is one of few that is almost guaranteed to be effective at boosting testosterone.

It would be best if you kept an eye out for it in every t-booster.

10. Tongkat Ali

tongkat ali

Tongkat ali is also known as eurycoma longifolia and longjack, but no matter what you call it, it's efficacy as a t-booster is tenuous.

It has been shown to boost testosterone in rats, but in humans, it has only been shown to be truly effective as a libido and virility enhancer.

This is another case of an ingredient included purely for the sexual performance side of things, either to sell the formula's efficacy or to combat one of the most common symptoms.

11. Bioperine

Finally, Bioperine is made from black pepper and is an incredibly powerful antioxidant that is included in products and ingredients to increase the effect of other ingredients.

It does this by helping you to absorb the other minerals, vitamins, and nutrition properly.

By aiding the body to absorb the supplements into your system quickly, you can be sure you'll get the most out of them.

Where To Buy This Product

tribal x 2 bottles

Tribal X Nutrition seems to only be available through trusted 3rd party retailers.

They have a Facebook page and a website, but they don't seem to be in active use or updated very often.

Unfortunately, this means that there are no discounts or money-back guarantees available on the product, and it is also a little damaging to trust in the brand in general.

When Should You Take Tribal X Nutrition Testosterone Booster?

You should take Tribal X Nutrition once a day, usually alongside the main meal.

How Much Tribal X Nutrition Testosterone Booster Should I Take?

Tribal X Nutrition Testosterone Booster is one serving a day, and you shouldn't exceed the recommended dose. If you do experience any side effects, consult with a healthcare provider immediately.

Who Is Tribal X Nutrition Testosterone Booster For?

The Tribal X Nutrition T-Booster is designed for men 30+ who feel their testosterone levels are in decline. If you feel low in energy at the gym, in the bedroom, or just in general, this could be caused by low testosterone.

Would We Recommend Tribal X Nutrition?

To put it simply, no, we wouldn’t. While I found that Tribal X Nutrition provided some short-term benefits and an increase in energy, I'm skeptical about whether it actively increased testosterone production and would continue doing so long-term.

It is overly focused on libido and virility, and sort of pushes testosterone production in the background.

This is why I would recommend Centrapeak Testosterone Booster. It continues to serve up the same focus on natural and non-synthetic supplements, but with much greater attention paid to the research and customer reviews. I've been using it for a while now, and there's nothing else that genuinely makes me feel more manly in every sense of the word.
