SARMs have been extremely popular in the media, mainly for their ability to be considered a less risky option than anabolic steroids. Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMs) contain many different compounds, but they all work to achieve the same goal: better cardiovascular and fitness health for those with debilitating conditions. Early trials on rodents and animals have been promising. However, they have not yet been approved by the FDA for retail or prescription use.

In this article, we'll review what a SARM is (and does), The benefits and side effects that SARMs have been associated with thus far, how they can affect the body, and ultimately, a safe and reliable way to purchase SARMs and other such products for approved research and laboratory use.

What Are SARMs?

SARMs have undergone extensive research, with most of the results being posted in certain scholarly articles on the effects it has had on some early clinical trials of animals, and what this can mean for humans. Although SARMs have been studied for several years, it has only recently had headwinds due to their adoption and attention within the fitness community.

Although no SARM compound has yet been approved by the FDA and the USADA, certain suppliers have been shut down for incorporating them into certain natural supplements to attempt to bypass the approval process.

SARMs work by binding themselves to the androgenic receptors in your cells, speeding up recovery, repair, and development. Different SARMs target different things. For example, Ostarine is a SARM that focuses less on rapid development, and more on binding to the receptors to prevent further atrophy, weakening, and degeneration. This means that someone with cancer, coma, or severe muscular dystrophy can undergo effective therapy. Although not yet approved, it is purported to have had success in its early trials.

What Are The Benefits and Side Effects of SARMs?

What Are The Benefits and Side Effects of SARMs?

The chief benefit of SARMs is that they are non-steroidal and do not interfere with androgenic qualities within the body. Overall, this means they have many of the same benefits that anabolic steroids do for the body, without many intended side effects. While steroids mimic the hormone testosterone, SARMs do not interfere with hormones at all, but increase and mimic many of the benefits that testosterone can have on the body, even in females. SARMs have these expected benefits once incorporated into therapeutic use:

  • SARMs can target muscle tissue development, helping those with muscular degenerative diseases, such as cancer and AIDS.
  • Certain SARMs target weakening cells and prevent them from further destroying themselves, allowing a better quality of life.
  • Other SARMs can target joint, connective and bone tissue - providing a remedy for those with osteoporosis, injury, or arthritis.
  • SARMs can help those with obesity by increasing metabolic burn, which can more effectively use up the fatty acid energy stored.
  • SARMs also balance cholesterol and fat levels, which can have extremely positive effects on those with a risk of heart disease.

Side Effects

Of course, nothing can come without risk. SARMs - especially when cycled for much too long (similar to steroids) can have detrimental effects on the body:

  1. Testosterone suppression. Frequent SARM usage can suppress natural testosterone from being released into the body. It is important to note the difference: anabolic steroids can destroy your ability to create testosterone, while SARMs may simply suppress their release. Cycling off can usually fix this issue.
  2. Baldness. Those with the androgenic alopecia gene may already be balding, but SARMs can speed up that process.
  3. Acne and oily skin from increased androgenic activity.
  4. Back pain
  5. May also increase the level of toxicity within the liver.

SARMs Before And After Body Transformation

SARMs can transform your body in different ways. Since this is not an approved substance that should be used for any purposes (other than a USADA exception), there are no conclusive trials on humans. What has been reported thus far which can transform your body is:

  • Increased lean muscle mass.
  • Better protein intake, and usage of that protein within the body.
  • Increased metabolism, helping both with shedding fat and increasing your energy throughout the day.
  • The sharp increase in mental alertness and wakefulness while on a cycle.
  • Recovery periods between workouts or strenuous activity drastically decrease, (which would be especially important for those with labor-intensive jobs)
  • Stabilization of cholesterol within the body
  • Better production of insulin or maintenance of blood sugar levels for those with hemophilia and diabetes.

Where Can I Purchase SARMs For Research Purposes?

If you are looking for SARMs to use for approved laboratory and research uses, PureRawz has you covered. All their products are top of the line and disclose everything on the label, including any questions, ingredients, side effects, or what it can be used for. It also contains research information on trials that have been conducted on the particular compound - complete with a certificate of authenticity. They have Ostarine and Liganol, but also other SARM-related products, such as Testolone and Ibutamoren.

Can sarms cause gyno?

Yes. One of the reported side effects of SARMs is gynecomastia, which is the enlargement of the breast tissue and sensitivity of nipples in males. This is similar to one of the anabolic steroid side effects, as the increased androgenic activity may cause the tissues to grow.

Can sarms cause infertility?

To date, there are no observed side effects that contribute to infertility in any gender. Theoretically, they can suppress certain hormones, which can lead to loss of libido, but further research is needed to confirm and observe these related issues.

How do sarms suppress testosterone?

Certain SARMs may suppress testosterone release, while others do not. They do this by capping the amount that is made available to the body. This is extremely different from the side effects related to anabolic steroids, which do not suppress by destroying the building blocks which create the testosterone hormone.
